The factory is located at the HRC Industrial Estate, Savar. The Unit had gone into commercial production of incandescent Light Bulbs(GLS) from October, 1998 to meet growing local demand. "HRC" brand of GLS bulb, Night lamps and Fluorescent Tube Lights has been received very well by the market due to its better lumination and long life.

There are also plans for producing Energy Saving Lamps in the near future.
